Dr. Philip Amuyunzu Mang’are is a renowned author and lecturer of Physics at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Kenya. He had earlier served as a lecturer of Physics at Moi Univerity and also taught Physics and Mathematics in many secondary schools. He holds a PhD in Physics specialising in Electronics, Biophysics and Bioacoustics. He has authored many papers in Physics and Biophysics journals. Philip has attended and presented papers at many international conferences in San Diego California USA, Miami Florida USA, Maryland in USA, and Ljubljana in Slovenia. He holds many leadership positions in Biophysics and is currently the BPS USA Ambassador in Africa. He is the founder and current Executive President of the Society of Africa Biophysical Societies (SABS). He prides in many networks for championing Biophysics in Africa.
